Mould Remediation
Containment, removal and treatment of mould growth, with the moisture source fixed so it does not simply grow back.
Mould is a symptom. The moisture is the problem.
Mould needs moisture, and it will keep coming back for as long as the moisture does. Removing growth without finding and fixing its source is the most common wasted spend we see on a building.
We contain the affected area under negative pressure so spores do not travel, remove affected materials, treat what stays, and then deal with the water that caused it, whether that is a leak, condensation, a failed membrane or grade.
What the work includes- Containment under negative pressure with filtration
- Removal of affected drywall, insulation and porous materials
- Antimicrobial treatment of the materials that remain
- Drying the structure to standard before anything is closed up
- The moisture source identified and permanently repaired
- Rebuild and finishes by the same contractor
- Clearance documentation on request

Signs worth taking seriously
- A persistent musty or earthy smell in one part of the building
- Visible black, green or white growth on walls, ceilings or framing
- Discoloured or buckling drywall near a known leak
- Condensation on walls or windows through the winter
- Occupants reporting irritation that improves when they leave
Mould Remediation, answered
Yes, and we think removing growth without doing so is close to pointless. Our estimators look for the moisture source as part of the scope.
Yes. Work is carried out under containment with negative pressure so spores are not distributed through the rest of the building.
It depends on the area and how much has to come out. Small contained areas are often a few days including drying; larger commercial scopes are quoted after assessment.
